Anti-Marriage Equality Religious Group Attacks Donald Trump

Donald Trump is being attacked by religious anti-marriage equality group the “National Organization for Marriage.” They told Joe.My.God. that they think Trump is “abandoning the fight for marriage.” The group sent out an ad in an email to supporters and said that it “could cause some serious damage to the Trump campaign and thus help propel forward other pro-marriage candidates like Sen. Ted Cruz.” The group is currently endorsing Cruz due to his continuous effort to make same-sex marriage unconstitutional. Ted Cruz is one of the Republican candidates who signed the “National Organization for Marriage’s” pledge to try to pass an amendment to ban same-sex marriage.

“This powerful new commercial could really make a difference in who wins in South Carolina. Most experts believe that the South Carolina race will come down to Donald Trump or Sen. Ted Cruz. When it comes to marriage, the two couldn’t be further apart. Donald Trump dumped the fight for marriage as soon as the US Supreme Court issued its illegitimate and anti-constitutional ruling, while Ted Cruz responded by sponsoring a constitutional amendment to restore the right of states to preserve true marriage,” the group wrote in its email. “As the ad makes clear, when Donald Trump quit on the fight for marriage, he quit on South Carolina and over 50 million voters across the nation who cast ballots defining marriage as one man and one woman.”

“When the U.S. Supreme Court imposed gay marriage, Donald Trump didn’t fight for us. He dumped us. When Trump quit on marriage, he quit on South Carolina and on over 50 million American voters. It’s time to Dump Trump.” Said the National Organization for Marriage in its commercial advertisement against Donald Trump. The organization plans to continue its efforts to convince South Carolina voters not to vote for Trump.

Ted Cruz Accidently features Lesbian Adult Film Star in his Campaign Ad

Anti-gay Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz accidentally features a lesbian adult film star in his ad titled “Conservative Anonymous.” The actress, Amy Lindsay, has appeared in films like “Secrets of a Chambermaid,” “Milf,” and “Carnal Wishes.” The ad itself is set up much like alcoholics anonymous and features Lindsay telling voters to “vote for more than just a pretty face next time.” Which is supposed to be a joke about Marco Rubio that isn’t really understood. The real joke is the fact that Cruz’s team didn’t look at the actress’ resume.

“Had the campaign known of her full filmography, we obviously would not have let her appear in the advertisement. The campaign is taking the ad down and will replace it with a different commercial.” Said Catherine Frazier, Cruz’s press secretary. The actress is actually a Republican and a Christian conservative. She thought it’d be “cool” for a porn star to star in a political ad. Despite this, Cruz’s team had the ad immediately pulled from the air and has promised that it will be replaced by different one.

The Dreaded “Transgender Bathroom Bill” Dies in Virginia Committee

The Virginia Legislative panel has shot down the bill that would have required students to use the bathroom that corresponds with their genitals. This law would have required education providers and school staff to “check” students to make sure that they would be using the correct bathroom. Virginia is the newest one of many states to try to impose such a bill, others being Missouri, Nevada, Texas, Indiana, Arizona, and Florida, who all tried to advocate the bill in 2015. Thankfully, Virginia’s bill died Feb. 9 with an 8-13 vote in Virginia’s House subcommittee.

One of the bill’s supporters, republican delegate Mark Cole, assured those that apposed it that the bill was designed to protect students’ privacy. Many where against the bill argued that forcing students to let teachers look at their genitals would take away their privacy.
