Netflix Horror Movies

Since it’s October, many people have begun to get into the Halloween mood by watching scary movies. While it can be difficult to sift through all of the movies on Netflix, I found a very good thriller, and a very bad horror movie.

The horror movie I found is titled “Happy House.” The summary made the movie look promising by saying that it’s about a couple whose relationship is in danger. To help mend their relationship, they go to a secluded bed and breakfast. Along the way, they encounter disasters that make them believe something bad is going to happen.

This movie has a 4.3/10 rating on IMDB if that tells you anything. It was extremely weird and very cheesy. There was also supposed to be a comedy aspect to it, but it did not measure up to the comical standard. It was the kind of a movie that made you realize you wasted time watching it. The acting was adequate, but a large portion of the movie made no sense and the characters were more annoying than entertaining.

The thriller is titled “Haunter.” This movie was far better than the other movie I encountered. Imagine if the ghosts were the ones being haunted. Already sounds great, right? This movie is about a girl who finally wakes up from a trance and realizes she is in a state of living the same day on repeat. She grows sick and tired of repeating the same activities every day and seeing her family repeating so she starts to do things differently every day.

As she begins to experiment with living every day differently, and trying to get her family out of its trance, she notices things moving around – a secret shrine of pictures with people in them that she has never met, her brothers imaginary friend and a girl in the mirror. This thriller leaves you on the edge of your seat and keeps you interested the whole time. I really recommend watching it and seeing the plot twists and turns. This movie is one of the best ones I have seen on Netflix, so you should look into it.
