Greek Events Roundup

There is a lot happening on campus right now and with the whirlwind that the fall semester is, it can be hard to keep track of it all. To make things a little easier, here is a roundup of all the Greek events happening this weekend.

Saturday, October 9:

Breast Cancer Awareness Soccer Game with Sigma Lambda Gamma 2:00 pm

“Sigma Lambda Gamma presents: Breast Cancer Awareness Soccer Game featuring Millikin Women’s Soccer. October 9, 2021 @2pm Frank M. Lindsay Field. We dedicate this game to those who are fighting or have fought against Breast Cancer. Please wear pink!”

Pi Phi Phall Phest 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

“Pi Beta Phi invites you to attend our annual Phall Phest on October 9th from 2-5pm at the Pi Phi House (235 N Fairview Ave Decatur, IL 62522)! Join us in raising money to promote literacy at this Phall Philanthropy event! We will have live performances from the acapella group Dissonance, Polyphonix acapella, OneVoice, Blubop, Physical Graffiti, Math Club, and Priscilla Sabourin.

We will have therapy dogs and horses, Pi a Pi Phi, raffles, food, photo stations, a book station to read to the therapy animals, and fall-themed treats! Tickets are $5 presale and $7 at the door. We hope to see you at our Phall Phest of fun on October 9th! If you can’t attend but still want to help support our philanthropy, there is a donation only option when clicking the link below! Sunday, October 10:

Delta House of Pancakes 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

“Millikin Tri-Delta is having Delta House of Pancakes (DHOP) on Sunday, October 10th from 11 am to 2 pm in the Tri-Delta parking lot to raise money for our philanthropy, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We will have regular, chocolate chip, and gluten-free pancakes, as well as sausage, eggs, coffee, and orange juice. It’s $5 for a single serving and $7 all you can eat!

Along with pancakes we will have St. Jude guest speakers: Lauren Adcock, a current Millikin Tri-Delta member and past St. Jude patient, Erech Pierson, a current Millikin Tri-Delta dad and past St. Jude parent, and Bekah Abbott, regional manager for ALSAC and St. Jude. We will also be raffling off a Grey House Apparel & Goods gift card, a Designer Desserts cupcake voucher, a St. Jude goodie basket, and a signed Albert Pujols Cardinals Baseball hat.

CANCELLED: TKE Kickball Tournament on the Quad 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm 

Due to scheduling conflicts and other issues, the TKE Kickball Tournament that was scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled. Stay tuned for more information about TKE events.
