Violence in the Ukraine leads to crucifixion

Dimitri Bulatov, who had been missing since Jan. 22, according to time.com, was found in a village just outside of Kiev, the capitol of Ukraine. Bulatov, 35, appeared outside of the capitol on Thursday, Jan. 30. He was very battered and covered in blood. The pictures of Bulatov immediately began to spread across the Internet, time.com goes on to report. Bulatov told the individuals that found him, that he had been crucified. The pictures go on to indicate a very large gash across Bulatov’s cheek, and one of his ears had almost completely been severed. In addition to his injuries, he had what appeared to be bloody puncture wounds on both of his hands. Bulatov is an activist for the revolution that is going on in the Ukraine, and it is believe he was abducted by supporters of the current government.

Dumpage in the Great Barrier Reef

According to CNN, approximately 3 million tons of dredge, which has been generated from the expansion of a coal port, is going to be dumped in the Great Barrier Reef Park. The approval to dump the dredge comes down from Federal Environment Minister Greg Hunt. The decision was approved to use because the dumping site would not contain any coral reef or seagrass beds. Greenpeace is fighting the move to use the site for dumpage.

Spike in deaths among Russian men

In a report released by BBC, there has been a spike in the percentage of deaths among Russian men. A study in The Lancet reported that 25 percent of men who die in Russia are younger than 55, and most of them die to alcohol related complications. The deaths include everything from liver failure, alcohol poisoning, fights and other related alcohol accidents. The most recent spike in deaths related to alcohol is primarily related to the drinking problem in Russia. The spike in binge drinking has been the key contributor to the deaths.

Egypt leads air strike on Sinai

Thirteen were killed in an air strike led by the Egyptian military. The thirteen who died are believed to have been involved in the Muslim Brotherhood. The attack occurred in the Sinai region. The CNN report says that four homes were hit in the strike. This is another occurrence of violence that has recently occurred in the area.
