With a new year comes new releases. A fresh year for artists to either leave us pleased or entirely disappointed with their upcoming albums.
We’re nearly a month into 2026, and we’ve received word about a number of upcoming releases from popular artists, as well as a couple of already-released albums and singles.
So here’s a list of what we have to look forward to early this year.
A$AP Rocky: Don’t Be Dumb

On January 16th, A$AP Rocky released his first full-length studio album since 2018.
The album features artists such as Tyler, the Creator, Imogen Heap, and will.i.am, just to name a few.
Don’t Be Dumb consists of 15 songs and two bonus tracks. The album explores heavy jazz, hip-hop, metal, and R&B influences, but rap is still front and center.
After a nearly 8-year wait, fans were expecting the best from him, and it’s safe to say that they weren’t disappointed.
Megan Moroney: Cloud 9

February features a number of new albums, including Megan Moroney’s third studio album, Cloud 9.
The country singer’s album will consist of 15 songs and feature singer Ed Sheeran on the song “I Only Miss You” and Kacey Musgraves on “Bells and Whistles.”
The album will be released on February 20th, further supporting her Cloud 9 tour.
Mumford & Sons: Prizefighter

The folk-rock band will release their sixth studio album, Prizefighter, on February 20th.
Co-written and produced by Aaron Dessner, the album will feature various other artists such as Gigi Perez (“Icarus”), Hozier (“Rubber Man Band”), Gracie Abrams (“Badlands”), and Chris Stapleton (“Here”).
Prizefighter truly is a much-awaited album with well-known featured artists.
I can’t wait to see what Mumford & Sons has in store for us this time.
Hilary Duff: Luck… or Something

Another one of February’s awaited releases is Hilary Duff’s sixth main studio album, Luck… or Something.
There is not much to say about the upcoming album, but it will be released on February 20th and consist of 11 new tracks.
This will mark her first studio album released since Breathe In. Breathe Out. in 2015.
Harry Styles: Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally

On January 15th, Harry Styles announced the release of his fourth studio album titled Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally.
Since his last album, Harry’s House, and the end of his tour, fans all across the world have been anxiously awaiting his next album and tour.
His fans are pleased with the album and tour announcements.
Styles has already released his new single “Aperture” on January 22nd. The full album is set to release on March 6th.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see whether or not it will exceed the high expectations set by fans.
Noah Kahan: The Last of the Bugs

Kahan revealed in early December that he’ll be releasing a new album, The Last of the Bugs, his latest album since Stick Season in October of 2022.
The public is still waiting for an exact date for the album release. Many speculate that the full album will be released in the spring of 2026, perhaps around March.
This is suspected after his “when the bugs won’t die” hint.
However, we do have confirmation on a release date for a single.
Noah Kahan will release his new single, “The Great Divide,” on January 30th.
Many fans, including me, are excited to see what his new album will become, and his single will be a great tell of that.
