After securing a landslide victory in the 2024 Presidential Election, President-elect Trump delivered a victory speech to remember.
In the speech, he talked about how grateful he was to secure a victory, how proud he was to win the popular vote, and how impressed he was with the American people, a people who showed out in incredible amounts to support the candidate they believed was best fit for the presidency.
“I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body,” Trump said. “I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve, and that your children deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America.”
These are normal things to include in a victory speech, but of course, Trump provided his own flair to the speech, one that only he could provide.
Trump congratulated the winner of golf’s U.S. Open Championship, Bryson DeChambeau, inviting him up on the stage. Trump had appeared on his popular YouTube channel over the summer, helping to spark the idea that Trump is just a regular person who happens to be a multi-billionaire.
“We have up here today the US Open champion,” Trump said. “He’s, uh, fantastic–slightly longer than me, hits a ball a little bit longer than me. Just a little bit. Bryson DeChambeau is up here someplace.”
This is yet another reason that Trump’s campaign was the campaign of joy. He connected with people in real ways through several different mediums.
And Elon Musk, the owner of a huge medium, X, was next on the list of people Trump wanted to thank.
“Let me tell you, we have a new star,” Trump said, followed by a story of how incredible he believes Musk’s rockets to be.
He also highlighted how valuable Musk’s technology has been to America, specifically in times of need.
“The people from North Carolina came to me,” Trump said. “They said, ‘Would it be possible, at all possible, for you to speak to Elon Musk? We need a Starlink.’ I said, ‘Elon, they need it really badly in North Carolina, can you get it?’ He had it there so fast, it was incredible. It saved a lot of lives. He saved a lot of lives.”
Another extremely prominent figure that Trump desired to shoutout was Dana White, who was extremely fired up in his defense of the President-elect throughout his short message.
“Nobody deserves this more than [Trump],” White said. “Nobody deserves this more than his family. This is what happens when the machine comes after you, what you’ve seen over the last several years.”
White also made several shoutouts of his own.
“I want to thank some people real quick,” he said. “I want to thank the Nelk Boys, Adin Ross, Theo Von, Bussin’ With the Boys, and last but not least, the mighty and powerful Joe Rogan.”
All of these people White mentioned are wildly successful and influential, namely Joe Rogan, who endorsed Trump right before election day.
Trump surrounded himself with the right people.
Kamala couldn’t even get her vice president right.
As for Trump’s pick, he had an extremely encouraging message at the speech.
“I think we just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States,” Vance said. “Under President Trump’s leadership we’re never going to stop fighting for your dreams, for the future of your children, and after the greatest political comeback in American history, we’re going to have the greatest economic comeback in American history under Donald Trump’s leadership.”
We will wait to hear Harris’ speech in response, where she is expected to make closing remarks on her candidacy. She has already made a phone call to Trump, congratulating him on winning the race, bringing one of the most polarizing elections in history to an end.
