Millikin’s men’s tennis team started off the week in Hanover, Illinois. The men lost their first match against Prairie State College 4-5. The men also lost their second match against Hanover College, again, with the final score of 4-5. The men next compete at the Spring Tennis Fest in Hilton Head, South Carolina on Saturday, MArch, 7 to Friday, March 13.

The men’s volleyball team played against Loras College at home, losing 0-3 on Monday, Feb. 24. On Friday, Feb. 28, the men’s team traveled to play against Rockford University. The men came out victorious, winning 3-0. The men hold an overall record of 2-13 and 0-4 in the conference. The men next play against North Park University on Thursday, March 5. The game is at home and will start at 7 p.m.

The women’s basketball team ended their season on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The women lost 69-76 to Augustana College. The game was a CCIW Tournament game. The women end their season with a 16-10 record overall and 9-7 in the conference.

The men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the CCIW Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, Feb. 29. The men’s team finished in second place and the women finished in seventh. Both teams will compete at the Wartburg College Qualifier in Waverly, Iowa on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.

The baseball team spent the weekend in Jackson, Mississippi. On Friday, Feb. 28, the men lost to Southwestern University 1-4. The men also lost to Millsaps College, losing 8-9. The men hold a record of 1-4 overall and 0-0 in the conference. The men next play against St. Norbert College at home on Saturday, March 7. Game time is 10 a.m.

The softball team was scheduled to play two games against Calvin College at home on Friday, Feb. 28. The women lost 13-15 their first game and the second game was canceled. The women hold a record of 0-1 and 0-0 in the conference. They will next compete in the Spring Games at Wartburg College on Friday, March 6. Game time starts at 2:30 p.m.
