The 2020 Millikin Baseball season is underway. The men traveled to Arkansas and played their first three games against Hendrix College. The men lost their first two games against Hendrix College on Saturday, but came back and won 4-0 on Sunday. They are currently 1-2 overall and 0-0 in the conference. The men will travel to Jackson, Mississippi to play against Southwestern University on Friday, Feb. 28. Game time starts at 2 p.m. The men will stay in Jackson, Mississippi and play at Millsaps College on Saturday, Feb. 29. Game time starts at 4 p.m.

The men’s volleyball team played at North Park University on Tuesday, Feb. 18. They lost to North Park 1-3. On Saturday, Feb. 22, the men played at Augustana College, losing 0-3. The men are currently 1-12 overall and 0-3 in the conference. They will play at Rockford University on Friday, Feb. 28. Game time starts at 7 p.m.

The women’s basketball team played against North Park University at home on Wednesday, Feb. 19, winning 82-68. The women’s team traveled to Carroll University on Saturday, Feb. 22. The women lost to Carroll 65-81. The women are currently 16-9 overall and 9-7 in the conference. The women play against Augustana College on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at home. Time is TBA. On Friday, Feb. 28, the CCIW Tournament Semifinals will take place at Wheaton College. Time again is TBA. 

The men’s basketball team also played on Wednesday, losing to Wheaton College 53-68. On Saturday, the men played at Carroll University, losing 47-75. The men ended this season with a 4-21 record overall and 1-15 in the conference.

The men’s and women’s swim team competed in the CCIW Championships over three days. The men’s team finished in fifth place while the women’s team finished in sixth place. New school records were set as well as new top ten best finishes.

The men’s and women’s track and field team competed on Friday and Saturday at the Illinois Wesleyan University Dual Meet in Bloomington, IL. The men won 73-64 while the women lost 71-68. Both the men and women will compete at the CCIW Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 29 and Saturday, Feb. 29, held in Bloomington, IL.
