The women’s basketball team started off the week by losing to Illinois College in Jacksonville 73-78 on Sunday, Dec. 1. The loss was the women’s first of the season after going 5-0.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, the wrestling team picked up a win 41-12 against Lincoln College. The wrestlers, now ranked number 18th, improved their season 9-0 after competing. The men will next compete at Loras College in Key City Classic on Saturday, Dec. 14. Match time starts at 2 P.M.

The men’s basketball team also competed on Wednesday, losing 60-85 against #17 Elmhurst College at home. The men also lost to Wheaton College 53-86 on Saturday, Dec. 7. The men are now 1-8 overall and 0-2 in conference, losing the last four games. The men will play Carroll University at home on Sat. Dec, 14. Game starts at 4 P.M.

The women’s basketball team ended the week with a win against #21 Wheaton College. The Big Blue defeated Wheaton 66-63 at home. The game ended up going into overtime and resulted with Millikin on top. This win for the women broke a 14 game Wheaton winning streak over Millikin. The women are 7-0 overall and 1-0 in conference. The Big Blue next play Carroll University at home on Saturday, Dec. 14. Game time starts at 2 P.M.
