The Millikin volleyball team added a loss to their record, when they played the University of Chicago.

The Big Blue lost 3-0 on Sept. 3 in Chicago, Ill. With the winning scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-23, the University of Chicago took the home win.

Millikin University junior, Kelsey Talkington, tried to win for the Big Blue leading with three blocks, 10 kills and two service aces. She was accompanied by Cassidy Kingery, a Millikin junior, with 15 digs and Emily Milhalkanin with 28 assists.

From the University of Chicago was Maren Loe, who led the team with 16 kills with Jasmine Mobley with 14 kills for their team. The University of Chicago’s standings are now 2-0, with Millikin falling behind with 1-2.
