The Millikin Men’s Basketball team played in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin with a 77-67 win in Chicago at North Park University on January 3. North Park opened the game having a four point lead on Millikin before the Big Blue took control with a 17-6 advantage with 11:30 left in the first half. By halftime, Millikin led 35-31. Millikin built their 10 point lead early on in the second half before North Park hit 3 three-pointers during an 11-0 run. Leading the Big Blue was Sims with 17 points, four assists, and seven rebounds. Nick Novak gained 11 points while Griffin and Jacob Kueker each added 10 points to the Big Blue score. Leading North Park was Juwan Henry with seven rebounds and 29 points. Big Blue now advances 6-6, 1-0, while North Park goes to 8-3, 0-1.
