The number 23 ranked Millikin University volleyball team lost a conference match to number 17 ranked Elmhurst College 3-1 at the Griswold Center in Decatur Illinois on Tuesday, November 4. Millikin rallied to win the third set 25-15, after losing the first three sets to Elmhurst 27-25 and 25-23. The Elmhurst Bluejays won the fourth set 25-23 in a very close back-and-forth match. The Big Blue was led by Audrey Krajec (senior) with 19 digs and 23 kills. Jade Becker (senior) had 13 kills. Christina Capuani (freshman) had the team high 22 digs. Alicia Thompson (sophomore) led Millikin University with 30 assists. Sam Szarmach from Elmhurst had 15 kills followed by Hannah Nimrick with 13 kills. Millikin is now 30-7, 5-2 for this season and finishes in second in the CCIW regular season standings.
