On Oct. 25, the Millikin Volleyball team gained two more victories at the Linda Slagell Dig for the Cure Classic hosted by Millikin in Decatur, Illinois. The first set was dropped to Platteville 26-24, but, after that, Millikin came back and took the last three sets 25-21, 25-16, and 25-22. Jade Becker (Senior) had 18 kills, while Audrey Krajec (Senior) got 14 kills and four service aces. Jenna Hilger led the Big Blue with 30 service aces. For Platteville, Jennifer Schmidt let with 11 kills. In the next game, Millikin won against Simpson 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, and 25-22). Krajec had 16 kills with Alora Goodey (Freshman) receiving 12 kills. Jenna Hilgers (Freshman) had 19 set assists. For Simpson, Tabitha Blaser led with 17 kills. Krajec, Becker, and Goodey from Millikin were all named to the All-Tournament Team alongside Jacquelin Luth from Simpson, Klaudia Basierak from Dubuque, Jennifer Schmidt from Wisconsin-Plattville, and Shelby Knowles from Wheaton. Millikin now advances to 27-5.
