In Elmhurst, Illinois on Oct. 5, the Millikin women’s tennis team won 5-4 in a close road CCIW match downing Elmhurst College.

Big Blue took two of the three doubles matches and won three singles matches.

Aubrie Sabin (Sophomore), Elizabeth Breitbach (Freshman), and Amber Morgan (Junior) won in their single matches. Amber Morgan had a great win after losing the first set 4-6, she came back to win the next two 6-1, 6-2.

Aubrie Sabin and Melissa Donovan (Freshman) from Millikin defeated Hannah Vasaleny and Brittany Kuehn from Elmhurst 8-3 in one doubles match.  Morgan and Breitbach were under 5-2 in their doubles match with Elmhurst’s Lauren Kuehn and Alexis Adams before they came back and won their match 8-6.

Millikin women’s tennis team now has the stats of 7-4.
