The Millikin men’s golf team played on September 29-30 in at Trappers Turn Golf Club Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin at the Midwest Region Classic, and finished in third.

Big Blue had team total of 614 (305-309). The first place winner of the tournament was Central College who ended with a team total score of 584. In second place was Carthage College with a final team total of 602.

In individual scores, Millikin’s top player was Alex Koulos (Junior) who finished with a total score of 152 (76-76) and tied for 11^th place. Blaine Buete (Sophomore) and John Doyle (Senior) were both tied for 16^th with total scores of 153. Mike Bubenicek (Senior) had a finishing total of 159 and tied for 49^th while George Knight finished with a total of 160 and tied for 52^nd place.

Coming up: Millikin is hosting the Big Blue Fall Classic on October 3rd and 4^th. The round on Friday starts at 1 p.m. at the Red Tail Run Golf Course with Saturday’s round being at the Hickory Point Golf Course that starts at 9 a.m.
