Millikin football defeated Aurora University 30-9 in the first game played at night since 1928. September 27^th there was standing room only at the grand re-opening of the newly renovated Frank M. Lindsey field, making the victory even sweeter. Millikin took the lead as Jowonis Edwards returned the Aurora kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown to make it 7-6 big blue. The kickoff was the first of many big plays by Millikin. Nick Pippin was 16-28, passing for 174 yards. Jacoby Sims topped the Big Blue rushers with 47 yards. Taylor Sanders was Millikin’s top receiver with 5 catches for 73 yards. Millikin is now 2-1 this season. Congratulations Big Blue football!
