Men’s soccer suffered a heart breaking loss at not only a home game but the first game to be played on the new artificial turf at Millikin’s Frank M. Lindsay field on September 20th. The game was a tight contest between Millikin and Aurora. Heavy rain began just before halftime and there was a 60 minute delay due to lightening. Once the game resumed it was played in pretty much a constant downpour. Daniel Sinclair had four saves in goal for Millikin.
Big Blue will play at Fontbonne on September 24th and they will return home on September 27th at 2 p.m. to play Franklin. That day will be triple header of action with soccer, football, and the official dedication of the renovated Frank M. Lindsay Field.
