After a long two week break from competition, the Millikin men and women’s cross country team got back into action on Saturday September 20th at St. James Farm in Warrenville, Il., at the Wheaton Gil Dodds Invite.

Millikin women’s CC came in 10th place with the men’s CC team following at 14th place.

The top runner for the women was Jamie Michl (Sophomore) who received 51st place and covered the 6k course in 24:26. Alivia Powers (Freshman) was a star performer, finishing the 6k in 24:46. This put her name on the Millikin all-time 6k performance list at 18th.

For the men’s team, Timothee McElroy finished his 8k with a time of 29:01, leading the way for Millikin to finish in 115th place overall.

Coming up: Friday, September 26th Big Blue will compete at the Brissman-Lundeen Invite at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
