In their non-conference match against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Sept. 6 at the Millikin University soccer field, Big Blue ties in a double overtime game.

The Millikin men’s soccer team began scoring right away when sophomore Kellin Daniel scored his first goal of the season in the first period from a pass made by sophomore Nick Schaefer. Big Blue maintained the lead throughout the game until Ben Lyon, from Rose Hulman, made a goal in the 69^th minute, making this his fourth goal of the season.

The Fighting Engineers and Big Blue went all the way into double overtime until a tie was called. All in all, Millikin scored ten shots on Saturday afternoon.
Millikin men’s soccer team now has 1-1-1 this season.

The next game will be against Webster University in St. Louis on Wednesday Sept.10 at 8 p.m.
