Millikin Men’s Golf takes second
Millikin’s golf team took second place at The Triangular at the Rail, played at the Rail Golf Course in Springfield, Ill. on Sept. 14.
Millikin shot a team total of 298 and placed second, just eight shots behind Illinois Wesleyan’s 290. The Millikin B team was 4th with a 307. Big Blue’s top performer was Alex Koulos who fired a three under 69 to tie for second place. Millikin sophomore Blaine Buente was eighth with a 74 and Mike Bubenicek was tied for ninth with a 76. Anthony Lechman and Chris Garci were also in the tie for ninth at 76.
Millikin will play in the NCAA Championship Preview Sept. 20-22 at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.
