Being a college student is hard enough with papers due every week and different obligations you have to attend to but, thanks to the twenty first century, there is technology available that can make our lives easier. This week, there is an application for both Android and Iphone. It’s called Evernote and it has a big elephant face as its cover. This application lets you organize every aspect of your life from setting reminders for events and homework, to saving pictures of the new pair of shoes you just saw at the store. This application is designed to organize all the notes you make and present them in a way that relieves the stress of having things to do.

This is how it works, for example let’s say you have a paper due next week. All you have to do is open up the Evernote application, choose which type of “note” you want to make whether it is a “Picture Note”, a “Text Note”, or an “Audio Note”, set the time you have to accomplish the tasks and Evernote sends you multiple reminders to get those things done. Unlike the standard “Reminders” function available in the IOS operating system for the Iphone, Evernote works without internet connectivity which is a big help when you trying to get work done and internet is just not available. Also, in my opinion the usability of Evernote is a lot easier compared to Iphone’s “Reminders” application.

Evernote also has a cool camera feature within that allows you to take a picture of a document and Evernote will actually be able to read the words on the page so you can go back later and search for the information that was on the original document and find the information you need without scrolling through hundreds of pictures
