21 March-20 April
Be careful what advice you give out, because it may be taken too seriously. If you do not know what you are talking about, be sure to start with a disclaimer as well as consider what you personally would actually do in their place. Tell no lies and be sure only to spare feelings with the truth.
21 April-21 May
Isn’t it terrible to be back? It’s not really so bad. Sink back into your old habits and crawl out of the relearned behaviors from home. You’ll get back into the swing of things soon enough. It can be both the best and worst of both worlds. Who says the world adds up to 100%?
22 May-21 June
Everyone is coming back. How do you feel about seeing them again? Decide, and make sure that in every relationship you have both parties are on the same page. You don’t want to start out with any misunderstandings, and people always appreciate knowing how much you missed them.
22 June-22 July
Perhaps disappointment is a sign to lower your expectations for some things. Your first instinct may not be to be hard on yourself but being hard on others is not always to an alternative. Everyone has their own stuff. If you’ve done what you can, that’s all you get.
23 July-22 August
Do you recognize the narrative? Think back, dig a little deeper. It may not be what you expect. Maybe it’s not even for you. The things that have bearing on your life are only what you take to have meaning yourself. Rethink what you think you know because assumptions are dangerous at best.
23 August-23 September
You’re back into the rush of things so better get reacquainted fast. Were there new connections you needed to make or habits you wanted to establish? Best get on them quick and early or it will be too late, and you’ll wish you had. Incorporate them now or possibly never, when it is two and a third times harder.
24 September-23 October
When called upon for a challenge, do not shirk away. Rise to it and accept the possibility the task may end in failure. Without you, it is sure to anyway. The best possible outcome involves your participation, so grit your teeth, buckle down and set your determination in the proper direction.
24 October-22 November
What a week. Read the previous sentence with whatever emotion attached to it you would like to. How do you feel about the last week? Think on it, then reread the sentence with a different sentiment. How much can you change your perception of that one week? Your memory is not what it could be.
23 November-21 December
Force yourself into the perspective of an ant. It is unlikely to make you feel any better, but when do mental exercises ever make sense? You now see things as an ant. But you must simultaneously remember that this is not what you are. You are human. However, keep this in mind: ants do exist.
22 December-20 January
The stars are dancing for you. They don’t want to tell you what they’re saying, they want you to observe it for yourself. Go see the stars. How many times have you heard “show, don’t tell” in your lifetime? Or “a picture is worth a thousand words?” A visual does not always mean the same thing to everyone.
21 January-19 February
Your conscience is not at all linked to your cleanliness, so doing chores isn’t going to help you feel differently. Though clean spaces and distractions are both things you should not be in opposition to. If situations are too hard to deal with, taking a step back is not your downfall. However, pretending they do not exist might be.
20 February-20 March
It’s raining, it’s pouring; it’s actually snowing. And now it’s sunny. If the weather’s got you in a mess, then perhaps you should stay inside for a while. Prepare for it all, then be disappointed when it’s mild and you’ve prepared for nothing. It’s unlikely to agree with you properly for a while. Step outside before you dress.
